App Installation Guide
With the BreatheSuite app you will be better able to self-manage your asthma or COPD (or that of a loved one) through the real-time feedback provided directly to your smartphone. The BreatheSuite app also provides reminders to help improve your adherence, and specific, individualized tips to improve your technique. Our app is available both on Android and IOS. Below are the download instructions for each respective platform.

Downloading the App & Enabling Pop Notifications

Open the Google Play store for Android or the App Store for IOS

In the search bar at the top, type in “BreatheSuite”

Select the first app that appears to install it
Enabling Notifications (for iPhones)
After the app has downloaded, you will be prompted to
enable three pop ups that will appear on the screen.
Firstly, the BreatheSuite app will ask to allow locations
settings. We recommend selecting “Allow While Using
App” for the best user experience. Next, the app will ask to enable notifications. Notifications
can include anything from app updates to scheduled dose
reminders. Select “Allow.”

Account Creation
As a new user, you will be required to create an account. Select “Sign up” at the bottom of the screen to begin the process.

You should now be taken to a new screen like the one on the right. To create your new account, fill in the required fields with your appropriate information (first and last name, an email you use regularly and have access to, a password of at least 10 characters).
Next, after you have reviewed and agreed to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, select the circle beside each statement and tap the blue “Register” button.
*Note: make note of your password and keep it in a safe place. You may need it to log in again in the future.

Now, you will be prompted to build out your own unique user profile. Fill out all the fields with the appropriate information and select “Save Profile” when done.

Add a Prescription
You are well on your way to completing setup!
On this screen, you have the ability to add in your current inhaler(s). While you are able to skip this step, it is highly recommended you add in all your prescriptions at this stage.
Select “+ Add inhaler” to begin.

Once selected, you will be brought to this screen. Select your type of inhaler by scrolling the list.

Add a Prescription
You are well on your way to completing setup!
On this screen, you have the ability to add in your current inhaler(s). While you are able to skip this step, it is highly recommended you add in all your prescriptions at this stage.
Select “+ Add inhaler” to begin.

Adding a Prescription
Start by giving your inhaler a name (example: My Green Controller). This will make it easier for you to manage your inhalers if you have multiple.
Fill out the remaining fields:

Your medication
-
Type of inhaler (controller or rescue)

The prescribed morning and evening puffs

If you use an aerochamber with your inhaler

If you would like to enable puff reminders (if so, select the times you would like those reminders)

If you have a BreatheSuite sensor for your compatible MDI (aka puffer)
Select “Save” to add this prescription to your profile. You can always go back and edit this information.

Add a Prescription
Follow the above steps to add more inhalers to your profile, if needed.
*Note: for all rescues, you are only required to fill out the name for that inhaler.

Select “Complete Account Setup” to finish setting up your user profile. You can always go back and add more prescriptions at a later time.
